Coelogyne saccolabium, formerly Dendrochilum saccolabium, is a miniature to small epiphyte from the Philippines, found above about 1200 metres. Each tapered pseudobulb carries a single leathery, corrugated leaf, and dense arching spikes of up to 40 small flowers emerge with the new growth. The flowers sit partly enclosed by spotted bracts and never open fully.

About the name

Supplied at flowering size – either a mature plant or a division from a plant that has already flowered – grown on in the Dandenong Ranges. Plants are packed on Sunday and sent on Monday. Buds and flowers cannot be guaranteed at time of shipping due to seasonal and environmental factors.
