Collection: Dockrillia Orchids
Dockrillia are Australian native epiphytes built around survival — wiry roots,
reduced leaves and winter flowers. The group splits into terete or pencil-leafed types such as
Dockrillia teretifolia and Dockrillia calamiformis, and flat-leafed types
including Dockrillia linguiformis (tongue orchid) and Dockrillia pugioniforme
(dagger orchid). All are closely related to Dendrobium and are listed under both names
here for that reason.
Why Buy Dockrillia Orchids Online from Belgrave Orchids
Every plant listed here is grown in an outdoor shadehouse — established seedlings, not tissue
culture, not fresh flask. Parentage is noted clearly on every listing so you know exactly what
you are buying and what to expect at flowering. These are plants grown under the conditions they
will be expected to perform in, not coddled under glass.
Dockrillia are specific in their requirements — high light, strong airflow, and a
genuine winter rest. If you are new to the group, read the
Dockrillia Care Guide before
purchasing. For more on the genus and what to expect from a seedling cross, see
