Masdevallia Copper Angel 'Jule' is a named clonal selection of one of the most celebrated primary hybrids in the genus — M. triangularis × M. veitchiana. Copper Angel is known as a vigorous, easy-growing hybrid, a good choice for growers newer to the genus as well as collectors.

What to expect

• Flowering: Single blooms carried on erect spikes clear of the foliage.
• Flowers: Warm copper-orange tones with good substance, typical of the Copper Angel grex.
• Plant: Vigorous, easy-growing Masdevallia — more forgiving than many in the genus.

Growing notes

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate. One of the more tolerant, easy-growing Masdevallia hybrids.
• Light: Bright filtered shade. No direct midday sun.
• Water: Keep evenly moist at all times. No pseudobulbs means no water reserves — do not allow to dry out.
• Humidity & air: High humidity with constant gentle air movement. Rainwater or RO water preferred.
