Cymbidium Avant Garde 'Geyserland'

Cymbidium Avant Garde 'Geyserland' is a mericlone Cymbidium hybrid selected for its warm golden-bronze petals and sepals with fine darker striping, set off by a deep red-maroon lip with a bright white and pink throat. The Avant Garde grex is valued for well-presented, naturally arching spikes with strong flower count. As a mericlone, flowers are consistent with the images shown.

What to expect

• Flowering: Winter to spring. Arching spikes carrying multiple well-formed flowers per spike.
• Flowers: Warm golden-bronze petals and sepals with fine darker striping. Deep red-maroon lip with a bright white and pink throat creating strong contrast.

Growing notes

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate. Well-suited to southern Australian conditions. Requires cool autumn nights to initiate spiking.

• Water: Water freely during spring and summer growth. Reduce frequency in winter while keeping the medium just moist.
• Feeding: Balanced liquid fertiliser fortnightly during the growing season. Taper off through late autumn and winter.
