Cymbidium Funky Devon ‘Gerald’

Cymbidium Funky Devon 'Gerald' is a miniature hybrid Cymbidium selected for its naturally cascading spike habit and bold, high-contrast flower patterning. The Funky Devon grex is an established Australian miniature hybrid known for its distinctive spotted presentation; 'Gerald' is a cultivar selected for the intensity and density of its burgundy suffusion and spotting across a cream to pale yellow ground.

What to expect

• Flowering: Winter to spring. Cascading spikes carrying multiple flowers in dramatic descending sprays — effective when displayed elevated or in hanging baskets.
• Flowers: Cream to pale yellow heavily spotted and suffused with deep burgundy, centred by a dark, sculptural lip. Bold patterning with strong visual impact at small scale. Flower colour and spike count may vary slightly with plant maturity and seasonal conditions.
• Plant: Miniature size. Supplied in a 66mm pot as an established growing plant.

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate. Well-suited to southern Australian conditions. Requires cool autumn nights to initiate spiking.
