Cymbidium Orchid Jacinta's Pride 'Jemima' is a miniature mericlone Cymbidium hybrid selected for its naturally cascading spike habit and soft pink flowers. The Jacinta's Pride grex is a well-regarded Australian miniature hybrid; 'Jemima' is valued for its clean pink colouration, refined flower form and descending presentation.

• Flowering: Winter to spring. Cascading spikes carry multiple flowers in descending sprays, which show best when the plant is displayed elevated or in a hanging basket.
• Flowers: Soft pink with clean, well-formed petals and a contrasting lip. As a mericlone, flowers are consistent with the images shown.
• Plant: Miniature size.
• Growth stage: Single-lead clone (SLC), a mericlone plant with one lead. It is not yet flowering size.

Growing conditions

• Climate: Cool to intermediate temperatures. Well suited to southern Australian conditions. It needs cool nights, especially in autumn, to initiate spiking, and it is not suitable for warm climates.
• Light: Bright filtered light. Use 30–50% shade cloth or dappled outdoor shade, and avoid direct midday sun.
• Humidity: Moderate to high.
• Water: Water freely during spring and summer growth. Reduce frequency in winter, keeping the medium just moist.
• Feeding: Balanced liquid fertiliser fortnightly during the growing season. Taper off through late autumn and winter.
