Cymbidium (Sleepy Sarah × Last Tango) 'Kyabram' is a hybrid Cymbidium selected for flower quality and arching spike habit. The cross combines the traits of two established Australian hybrids; 'Kyabram' is a cultivar valued for its warm, earthy-toned flowers with a contrasting patterned lip and naturally arching, well-balanced spike presentation.

What to expect

• Flowering: Winter to spring. Arching spikes carrying multiple intermediate-sized flowers in balanced, naturally flowing sprays.
• Flowers: Warm earthy tones with a contrasting patterned lip. Clear definition and composed overall form. Flower colour and spike count may vary slightly with plant maturity and seasonal conditions.
• Plant: Intermediate size. Supplied in a 66mm pot as an established growing plant.

Growing notes

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate. Well-suited to southern Australian conditions. Requires cool autumn nights to initiate spiking.
• Light: Bright filtered light. 30–50% shade cloth or dappled outdoor shade. Avoid direct midday sun.
