Rutherford Obsession is an Australian hybrid with rich, deeply toned flowers; Benizuru Treasure 'Ron' is a Japanese-Australian hybrid known for warm, jewel-toned colouring and strong flower substance. What to expect

• Flowering: Spring. Upright to arching spikes carrying multiple flowers above the canes.
• Flowers: Expected deep, rich tones — potentially red, orange-red, or burgundy — drawing on both parents. Strong colour saturation likely across the batch. Individual plants will vary.
• Plant: Upright hard-cane Dendrobium. Supplied in an 80mm pot as an established seedling.

Growing notes

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate. Hardy and well-suited to outdoor growing in southern Australia. Protect from frost.
• Light: Bright filtered light. Morning sun is beneficial; avoid harsh afternoon exposure.
• Water: Water freely during summer growth. Reduce significantly in autumn and winter — a dry winter rest is important for flowering.
