About the Cross
A cross between two well-regarded Dockrillia hybrids from the section Rhizobium breeding program. Tweetie 'GD' is a proven performer in Australian Dockrillia collections — a compact, terete-leafed hybrid with good flower presentation. Crossed with Memoria Jean Deas 'Dark' — a hybrid of Den. fuliginosum x Den. calamiforme, known in collector circles for its rich, deeply coloured flowers and spotting. The 'Dark' clone name signals the intensity of colour this parent brings. Together these two should produce plants with strong terete growth habit, good colour depth and the refined character collectors of this group look for. Best grown mounted or in a basket with excellent airflow. Often listed as Dockrillia by Australian growers.
What You'll Receive
Established seedlings in 80mm pots, grown in the Dandenong Ranges. Not yet flowered. Individual results will vary — that's the nature of a seedling cross and part of what makes it worthwhile.
