About the Cross
Cross number 5361. Graham Hewitt is a classic registered Australian hybrid — Den. Ellen x Den. speciosum, bred by W.T. Upton in 1981. The 'Kim' clone shows the best of that background: elongated, spidery flowers with cream petals and deep burgundy-purple striping from the Ellen parent. Crossed with Starsheen 'Botanic Fireworks' — bold yellow with deep burgundy spotting and one of the most recognisable clones in Australian native breeding — this cross should produce something with strong colour contrast, interesting patterning and good spike habit.
What You'll Receive
Established seedlings in 80mm pots, grown in the Dandenong Ranges. Not yet flowered. Individual results will vary — that's the nature of a seedling cross and part of what makes it worthwhile.
