Masdevallia Orinoco ‘Triple X’ AM/AOC

Masdevallia Orinoco 'Triple X' AM/AOC is a selected clone of this Masdevallia hybrid, receiving an Award of Merit from the Australian Orchid Council. The Orinoco grex is noted for large, saturated orange flowers with impressive scale; 'Triple X' was selected for its consistent quality and strong flower presentation, and the AM/AOC reflects that under judging conditions.

What to expect

• Flowering: Single flowers on erect spikes held clear of the foliage. Can carry multiple spikes on well-established plants.
• Flowers: Large, upright flowers in saturated orange tones with long narrow tails and a clean sculptural outline. Strong colour, good substance, and consistent presentation.
• Plant: Compact Masdevallia habit, vigorous when cool conditions are met.

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate. Avoid sustained warmth.
• Light: Bright filtered shade. No direct midday sun.
