Maxillaria paranaensis is the accepted name for the plant many growers know as Maxillaria juergensii. It is a miniature, mat-forming epiphyte from South America, with small, well-spaced pseudobulbs carrying narrow, grass-like leaves. Short single-flowered stems from the base hold glossy flowers close to the pseudobulbs.
