Growing conditions

• Temperature: Cool to intermediate, with a range of 5°C to 26°C. It needs cool nights, and sustained heat should be avoided. It grows well outdoors in the Dandenong Ranges and similar cool-temperate regions.
• Light: Bright filtered light. No direct midday sun.
• Humidity: 60% or higher.
• Water: Keep evenly moist year-round. Unlike Dendrobium, Sarcochilus has no pseudobulbs and no dormancy, so do not allow it to dry out completely.
• Feeding: Balanced fertiliser through spring and summer at reduced strength, with good air movement to reduce fungal risk.

One seedling in an 80mm pot at near flowering size (NFS), meaning it is close to flowering but not yet at flowering size. Plants are grown on-site in the Dandenong Ranges, packed on Sunday and sent on Monday. We ship plants only, not in flower, to reduce transit stress.
