Chinagraph Pencil for Plant Labels — High Pigment Wax

The chinagraph pencil is the old-school choice of serious orchid growers — and for good reason. High-pigment wax lead writes cleanly on plastic, metal, and glass labels and stays there. Unlike aquarellable pencils such as the Stabilo 8008, which wipe off with moisture, these won't budge unless you deliberately rub them off. They're what botanical collections and experienced growers have used for decades because they simply work.
